Accreditations

Our Accreditations and Professional Standards

When you appoint a contractor for electrical or fire safety work, you’re not just buying a certificate — you’re trusting someone with the safety of your people, your premises, and your legal compliance.

Our accreditations exist for one reason: to give you confidence that the work is carried out by competent professionals, to recognised standards, with the right oversight and a clear paper trail.

Fire Safety Accreditations

For fire-related works, we maintain professional membership and engagement with key UK bodies, including the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM), the Fire Protection Association (FPA) and the UK Fire Association (UK-FA).

These organisations support better practice across the industry through guidance, technical updates, training and peer standards — and being part of them keeps us connected to what’s current and what’s expected.

Our team also includes individuals listed on the National Fire Risk Assessors Register, giving duty holders added assurance that fire risk assessments are undertaken by competent people who understand the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order and how British Standards apply in real buildings.

Electrical Accreditations and Competence

For electrical work, we are a NAPIT Approved Contractor, assessed under the UKAS-accredited Electrical Assessment Scheme (EAS). This covers domestic, commercial and industrial electrical installation work, as well as inspection and testing activities.

In practice, that means our systems, certification, technical knowledge, and workmanship are independently assessed against recognised industry requirements.

We are also an IET Business Partner and have been for over 15 years. That relationship reflects our commitment to professional engineering standards, continued learning, and keeping pace with changes in regulations and technology.

For emergency lighting, our engineers are ICEL Accredited Competent Engineers, supporting compliant design, installation, inspection and maintenance of emergency lighting systems in line with the relevant British Standards.

Ongoing Training and CPD

Competence isn’t a one-off qualification — it’s something you maintain.

We invest in manufacturer training and continuing professional development (CPD) so we stay up to date with the latest equipment, testing methods, fault diagnosis techniques and system technologies. That’s especially important as modern buildings rely more heavily on integrated systems, electronics and networked controls.

Our operatives hold CSCS cards and complete regular health and safety training, supporting safe working practices on live sites, construction environments, occupied premises, and higher-risk locations. This helps reduce disruption, improve site safety, and ensures work is planned and delivered responsibly.

What this means for you

Using a properly accredited, well-trained contractor gives you practical benefits:

  • You get work completed to recognised standards and current guidance, not “how it’s always been done”.
  • You receive correct documentation and certification that stands up to scrutiny from insurers, auditors and enforcing authorities.
  • You reduce the risk of repeat visits caused by poor workmanship, misdiagnosis, or incorrect testing.
  • You improve safety and reliability — fewer faults, fewer false alarms, and fewer nasty surprises.
  • You gain peace of mind that life safety systems will work when they’re needed most.

If you’re responsible for a workplace, residential block, commercial premises or public building, choosing skilled and accredited professionals isn’t a luxury — it’s a sensible risk control.

We’re here to make compliance straightforward, keep your systems dependable, and help you demonstrate that safety is being actively managed.
